Our Divisions

MCG Industrial Construction

Industrial and commercial facilities that support productive economies, logistics networks and agricultural value chains.

Division overview

What we do

MCG Industrial Construction supports the physical facilities behind logistics, manufacturing and agricultural value chains. Our services focus on buildings and associated infrastructure, coordinated around the client's operational brief. A facility's process, machinery, specialist systems and regulatory requirements are identified early so that construction responsibilities are not confused with operational or process-engineering obligations.

We undertake small projects as well as larger construction packages. Each appointment defines the scope, delivery resources and specialist responsibilities. Professional registrations and certifications are verified where required; service descriptions do not imply a particular accreditation or completed project.

Services in detail

Service 01

Warehouses and distribution facilities

Warehouse construction considers building geometry, loading areas, vehicle circulation, floor requirements and service interfaces. Delivery planning coordinates the shell with equipment and tenant requirements, establishing which works form part of the base building and which are specialist installations. Access and construction logistics would be planned around the scale and location of the facility.

  • Warehouse and distribution-building packages
  • Loading-area and site-access interfaces
  • Floor, envelope and services coordination

Scope considerations: Racking, automation, specialist fire systems and logistics equipment require defined specialist appointments and design responsibilities.

Service 02

Manufacturing and light-industrial buildings

Manufacturing facilities need building works that respond to the process layout without assuming responsibility for the production process itself. Our scope coordinates structural and architectural packages with equipment positions, service demands and maintenance access. Installation windows and construction tolerances would be agreed with the appointed process and equipment specialists.

  • Manufacturing and light-industrial building works
  • Process-equipment and building interfaces
  • Utility and maintenance-access coordination

Scope considerations: Production-line design, machinery installation and operational validation are not implied by a building-construction appointment.

Service 03

Agricultural processing infrastructure

Our construction services support facilities used for agricultural processing, storage and associated activities. The planning process clarifies hygiene zones, workflow, utility needs and the interfaces with process equipment where relevant. Any specialised environment, such as temperature-controlled storage, would require its own design and clearly allocated performance responsibilities.

  • Processing-facility building packages
  • Storage and service-area construction
  • Specialist process and cold-chain interfaces

Scope considerations: Food-safety approvals, process performance and environmental compliance require specialist input; no certification is implied.

Service 04

Industrial site works and enabling infrastructure

An industrial building depends on suitable access, drainage, service capacity and external works. Our packages coordinate the site infrastructure with building phases and the planned operational layout. Existing utility capacity and off-site connection requirements should be assessed before a construction programme is committed, particularly where the development relies on third-party network upgrades.

  • Access, hardstanding and drainage packages
  • Utility-route and connection coordination
  • External works and phase interfaces

Scope considerations: Off-site upgrades, authority approvals and network capacity are subject to feasibility and the agreed scope.

Delivery approach

Our delivery process starts with the operational brief and a map of building, process and equipment responsibilities. Design coordination and procurement planning would establish specialist interfaces and installation windows. Site sequencing should then protect those interfaces while maintaining the agreed inspection and change-control arrangements.

Completion and handover

Industrial close-out distinguishes completion of construction from process commissioning and operational readiness. Agreed records, inspections and outstanding items would be assembled for the construction package, with specialist acceptance and operating approvals handled by the responsible parties.
